Rock grupa Zadruga nastala je u Zlataru 1990. godine kad su gitarist Krumpa, vokal Kreš i bubnjar Jura, odlučili osnovati bend nakon što su već imali nekoliko vlastitih kompozicija.
Nakon nekoliko nastupa i nekoliko izmjena (odlazaka i dolazaka) članova benda, prvu stalnu postavu benda čine Krumpa, Kreš, Ivek i Žac uz stalnu pratnju i podršku Kore.
Sa svojim demo, a kasnije i studijskim izdanjima, Zadruga je postala dio tadašnje hrvatske alternativne scene kojoj su pripadali Majke, Hladno pivo, Pips, Chip & Videoclips, Let 3, Overflow i drugi, a svirke po Hrvatskoj i Sloveniji su postajale sve brojnije.
