Norman Beaker Trio!

Norman Beaker (rođen Norman Hume, 21. lipnja 1950., Manchester, Engleska) blues je gitarist, vokalist, tekstopisac, glazbeni producent koji aktivno sudjeluje na britanskoj blues sceni od ranih 1970-ih.
Norman Bakeru je 2017 godine ukazano veliko priznanje postavši članom prestižnog američkog društva „Blues Hall of Fame“. Priznanje je tim veće jer je Norman Baker postao tek sedmim britancem primljenim u ovo prestižnom društvo. Britansko članstvo u „Blues Hall of Fame“ predvode Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, John Mayall …

Norman Beaker se više od četiri desetljeća nalazi u vrhu britanske blues scene. U tom periodu intenzivno je surađivao sa Alexis Kornerom, Graham Bondom, Jack Bruceom, Paul Jonesom, Eric Burdonom te mnogim drugima.
Dolaskom u Ameriku očarao je B.B. Kinga koji ga je nazvao „bijelim Freddy Kingom. U SAD-u je također surađivao sa vrhunskim glazbenicima ; B.B.King, Jimmy Rogers, Buddy Guy, Lowell Fulson, Chuck Berry, John Lord…etc.
Glazbenici u njegovom bandu redoviti su muzičari na turnejama velikana kao što su Chris Farlow i Van Morrison što također govori o veličini i značaju Normana Beakera.
